Positioned strategically one day before the GFMD Summit, this session was designed as an opportunity for business, civil society, city representatives, and youth advocates to explore common priorities and prepare a joint message to be delivered at the opening of the GMFD Summit.

3rd Civil Society Preparatory Meeting (CSPM3)

The Civil Society Preparatory Meeting is the official space for civil society delegates attending the GFMD to collectively discuss, engage and prepare together for their participation into the Summit.

The Meeting is a descendent of the Civil Society Days, a series of meetings bringing together civil society from across the world to collectivise inputs for the GFMD Civil Society Rapporteur. Since 2020, civil society has been allowed access and participation into the entire GFMD process and Summit activities, and thus these preparatory activities have evolved into the Preparatory Meetings- a space for meaningful discussion and exchange to allow for the best representation possible of the diversity and richness of civil society across the world.
